PAS gives Harapan a 'Fail' for first 100 days

PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has given the Harapan administration a score of “27 to 30” out of 100 marks in assessing the coalition’s performance during its first 100 days in power.
"An NGO has rated on social media that Harapan only fulfilled 20 to 30 percent out of (ten promises) in 100 days," he told a press conference at the Parliament lobby today.
"PAS has also given a low mark (to Harapan), which is 27 to 30. It's a grade ‘D’ that need to be reviewed," he said.
The Harapan committee which drafted the manifesto had failed to assess the situation correctly when it drafted the election promises, he said.
Tuan Ibrahim added that even though data on the country’s debt was not confidential and is announced in Parliament, Harapan had failed to fulfil its pledges.
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng had previously said that the coalition would only be able to deliver on certain promises when the country’s financial situation improved, pointing to the country’s debt and liabilities of RM1 trillion.
Beside failing to achieve its manifesto promises, Tuan Ibrahim said Harapan was doing things outside its focus, including proposing the national car 3.0 and allegedly reviving Formula One.
Tomorrow marks Harapan’s 100th day in power since its chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad was sworn in as prime minister on May 10.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Harapan government needed more time to complete the 100 days promises.
His deputy Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said the government has done its best and as such there is no need for the government to apologise. -Mkini

  1. It is Unacceptable if the mark was given by non qualified, irrelevant political party. I rather accept mark given by the Temiar's.
