PKR Now Has 50 Seats. Brader Can Be PM. "Mahathir Resign" Has Started

Well it looks like UMNO's strategy has worked out quite well in PD. UMNO did not want to field anyone not only to save themselves the embarrassment of losing but as the Pemuda boys said so that Brader 'can get back into Parliament, challenge Dr Mahathir and break up Pakatan Harapan'.

This is what they were saying.
That is not an impossible scenario.

The Brader's promise to put Port Dickson on the world map and to have the PM as their MP certainly became the lowest common denominator as well.

My own view is if the village is full of rocket scientists then they will vote for rocket science.  If not, then they will vote for something else.

Just a day after the By Election, the cyber troopers are already sending up their "Mahathir resign"  fliers and "articles".  Here is one:

Then the old stories are being replayed again.  For example the following :

In normal circumstances (of coalition government), PKR with 50 Parliamentary seats should call the shots. But they are not. Neither is DAP, the next largest component with 42 Parliamentary seats.

But it is Tun Dr Mahathir, with only 13 seats held by Bersatu, who is the glue that holds the Pakatan Harapan together.  So Tun Dr Mahathir is the Prime Minister.

If Brader is going to be the PM in a hurry, he not only needs "un-glue" Tun Dr Mahathir  from the PM's office but he has to become the glue that holds the Pakatan together. Can he do these two things ?  They are both very different.

Firstly can Brader Anwar hold anything together by presenting a coherent, dynamic and visionary policy to move ALL Malaysians forward?

The quick answer : NO.

The Brader has always been "out of touch" with reality.
His credentials and pseudo-Islamism never provided him any real management skills.

About the Brader's politics, his former speech writer Munawar Anees recently put it very concisely  :
  1. Islamic card seems to have lost lustre.
  2. Ethnic politics is an arid land.
  3. Euro-American multiculturalism is kaput
  4. Reformasi is a dead horse

1. Islamic card : Those of you who have been reading my writings will know that the Islamic card never had any lustre even to begin with.  All those who played the islamic card have now gone the way of the Dodo. Folks like Erdogan are the last few dodos still hanging around.

2. Ethnic politics : That is what caused UMNO to be kicked out.  It breeds serious corruption.   Plus it creates armies of non-competitive boneless chickens.

3. Euro-American Multiculturalism : I dont know what that has to do with us but Euro-American multi-culturalism tried to assume that semi civilised, semi literate, rude and crude Third World refugees could somehow magically assimilate into super-modern, super efficient, super educated Western democratic society. Wrong. They piss in the street and do not know why they have to stop at traffic lights.

4. Reformasi was never even a live horse to begin with. It was and still is a total waste of time.

The Pakatan Harapan won the PRU14 because the people were fed up with the Kleptocrats.
Secondly the people wanted Tun Dr Mahathir as the Prime Minister.
There are no other reasons.

If Najib had resigned in time (say in 2017) and put his cousin Hishamuddin Onn as the Prime Minister, the BN would still be in power today.

Anyway back to the Brader, he knows nothing about economics, future policy, bringing the Malays / bumiputras up to speed or even how the oil markets work.

So how is the Brader going to be the glue that can hold the Pakatan together and still "un-glue" Dr Mahathir at the same time?

There are no more "pink slips" for TNB shares  to "allocate" anymore.  Are you old enough to know what happened in 1993? That is also so old fashioned.

A large part of the answer is still "Projects and Contracts".
All the States need development money.
All the States need projects and contracts.
All the MBs and CMs need projects and contracts.
Style lama juga lah.

If necessary, besides projects and contracts, just give them whatever else they want.

If they want RUU777 give them RUU777.
If they want sharia, give them sharia.
If they want to marry young girls, just say "We cant do anything against it."
Just give it to them.  As long as they are happy.

So the doors will soon be opening very, very wide for anyone who is willing to show support.  Please go early folks because the queue will be getting very long.

Looks like the country is screwed.

A viral Whatsapp today says foreign fund managers withdrew RM1.05 billion (?) from the country last week - the biggest outflow in FOUR months. Today (the 1st business day after Port Dickson) the KLSE Composite was down by 2 points (closing 1728 ? )
