Ismail Sabri to assume Umno deputy president duties

Umno vice-president Ismail Sabri Yaakob will become the party's de facto deputy president, as Mohamad Hasan has assumed the duties of Umno president.

This was announced in a statement by Umno secretary-general Annuar Musa today.

Ismail Sabri had won the most votes for the three vice-president posts in the July Umno elections.
