KOTA KINABALU: A group of people were nabbed while having a "wild party" in a hotel room here early Thursday (April 4).
The suspects, aged between 21 and 35 comprising eight men and six women, were arrested at about 12.30am.
Kota Kinabalu police chief Asst Comm Habibi Majinji said two suspects were Filipinos while the rest were locals.
It is learnt they checked into the hotel room after partying at a club.
"When police raided the room, they found a small plate filled with about a gram of drugs," he said in a statement here Thursday (April 4).
He said 12 out of the 14 tested positive for drugs.
"They will be investigated under the Dangerous Drugs Act," ACP Habibi said.- Star
