Example Of Very Peaceful Preaching - Full Of Love And Harmony

 

Wow !! This is Zakir Naik's version of peaceful preaching?   

This is how Zakir Naik wants to spread "peace" around the world - by telling Indonesians :

'Why do the Muslim parents in Indonesia give their sons and daughters in marriage to non Muslims?'

This  is certainly stirring up shit in other peoples' countries.   

The Indonesians have their own religious harmony which they have maintained for some time.  Their state ideology of Pancasila and their national motto "bhinneka tunggal ika" (Unity in Diversity) is set to make Indonesia a great nation. 

Zakir quotes Surah 2:221.  Surah 2:221 uses the word mukmin which is rooted in amana.  

Amana and its derivatives as they are used in the Quran also mean  "trust"  (as in Amanah Saham Nasional or National Unit Trust).   

For example Surah 2:283 mentions  three forms ie  'amina' (entrust),  'tumina'  (entrusted) and 'amanatahu' (his trusts).  They are all rooted in the word amana. 

Zakir is also ignorant of the Quran which provides clear examples of Muslim men and women married to non Muslims.   And in the case of the men, they were Rasuls or messengers of Allah.

Example No 1.  Here is Surah 66:10 (Surah at Tahrim) which tells of TWO messengers of Allah ie Noah (Nuh) and Lot (Lut) whose wives were 'kafir' who were "condemned" to the naar or fire.

Surah 66:10  Allah presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them, so they could not avail them from Allah at all, and it was said, "(Both of you) enter the Fire with those who enter."

Surah 66:10  Indonesian translation  : Allah membuat istri Nuh dan istri Lut perumpamaan bagi orang-orang kafir. Keduanya berada di bawah pengawasan dua orang hamba yang saleh di antara hamba-hamba Kami; lalu kedua istri itu berkhianat kepada kedua suaminya, maka kedua suaminya itu tiada dapat membantu mereka sedikit pun dari Allah; dan dikatakan (kepada keduanya); "Masuklah ke dalam api bersama orang-orang yang masuk".

So two messengers of Allah or Rasuls (Noah and Lot) were married to kafir women. And these  two wives are stated as being condemned to enter the fire.

Example No 2. Here is Surah 11:81 (Surah Hood) where again the wife of the messenger Lot (Lut)  is condemned for punishment.

Surah 11:81  They said, "O Lot, indeed we are messengers of your Lord Protector, they will never reach you. So set out with your family during a portion of the night and let not any among you look back - except your wife; indeed, she will be struck by that which strikes them. Indeed, their appointment is [for] the morning. Is not the morning near?"

Indonesian translation : Surah 11:81  Para utusan berkata: "Hai Lut, sesungguhnya kami adalah utusan-utusan Pemelihara kamu, sekali-kali mereka tidak akan dapat mengganggu kamu, sebab itu pergilah dengan membawa keluarga dan pengikut-pengikut kamu di akhir malam dan janganlah ada seorang di antara kamu yang tertinggal, kecuali istrimu. Sesungguhnya dia akan ditimpa azab yang menimpa mereka karena sesungguhnya saat jatuhnya azab kepada mereka ialah di waktu subuh; bukankah subuh itu sudah dekat?". 

Again in the  verse above  Lot  (Nabi Lut)  is told  that  his wife will  be condemned with the other wicked people.  This confirms that his wife was a disbeliever.  

Example No 3.  Here is an example of a mukmin  woman (the wife of Pharaoh or Firaun) who was married to a non Muslim - Pharaoh. And Pharaoh was indeed a cruel fellow.  

This is Surah 66:11.

Surah 66:11 -  And Allah presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My Lord, build for me near You a house in the Garden and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wicked people.

Surah 66:11 Dan Allah membuat istri Firaun perumpamaan bagi orang-orang yang beriman, ketika ia berkata: "Ya Pemeliharaku, bangunlah untukku sebuah rumah di sisi-Mu dalam Jannah dan selamatkanlah aku dari Firaun dan perbuatannya dan selamatkanlah aku dari kaum yang zalim".

So in this verse Surah 66:11 is an example of a believing woman married to an obvious kafir the Pharaoh.

Zakir says that in India (his homeland) if a Muslim son or daughter marries a non Muslim, the Muslim family will chase that son or daughter out of the house.   Wow.

The Quran does not say that Noah or Lut chased their non-believing wives out of the house.  Or that Noah and Lut disowned their disbelieving  wives. There is no such evidence in the Quran. 

I know some of you will start jumping and start suggesting all sorts of fancy theories and explanations.  All that is NOT in the Quran. I am merely telling you what is written in the Quran. So be careful of what you are planning to say. And bear in mind, siapa anti Quran, terus jadi kuffar.
