THE world is a dangerous place. And it is about to get a hell lot more dangerous when people hear what this lawyer has to say.
In a viral video posted on X by netizen MYNEWSHUB, a lawyer could be seen advising people to be careful when sitting in their friend’s car who is known to be taking drugs.
With the Kuantan High Court as a backdrop, he said he was involved in a case where 29 grams of morphine was found in a car. Three unlucky people were in the car during the time of arrest.
As to the identity of the perpetrator, no elaboration was provided in the video. Regardless, even the innocent is not spared.
“If you are not aware of it, that is luck, but you still need to sit in jail for two to three years,” he said.
The cyberspace has since erupted with netizens questioning their peers or becoming paranoid about the likelihood of such a disaster happening to them.
Netizen SDA could be seen asking his buddy if he was clean.
Then there was khal who cheekily tagged her friend and said, “Be careful, you do not know what I keep in my Kelisa.”
“If we know the car contains drugs, obviously we would not sit in it. The people who sat in it are unaware,” said Azr79.
However, some netizens countered that people need to observe their friends and their lifestyle. “Ask them about their opinion on drugs,” said one netizen.
Others reminded that it was best to give these junkies and druggies a wide berth.
The conversation quickly gravitated over to the Grab service, where netizens questioned the chances of them being implicated if there were drugs found in the car.
Towards this question, Netizen lost_frequenzy gave a succinct reply to allay their worries.
Also, where Grab is involved, the passenger or driver is better able to provide evidence that they are not related to each other.
For a better picture, sf_sy helpfully attached an image informing the scope of penalty.
