Comedian Afdlin beats Nik Nazmi to Setiawangsa PKR chief post

 Afdlin Shauki garnered 631 votes while federal minister and PKR vice-president Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad obtained 563 votes.

Actor-comedian Afdlin Shauki has defeated federal minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad in the race for the Setiawangsa PKR chief’s post today.

Afdlin garnered 631 votes while Nik Nazmi, who is also a PKR vice-president, obtained 563 votes.

Afdlin, who joined PKR in 2021, had contested for the same post in 2022 but lost to Nik Nazmi, the two-term Setiawangsa MP. - FMT
