KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court today ordered Islamic preacher Mohd Rasyiq Mohd Alwi to pay former health minister Khairy Jamaluddin RM2.5 million in damages over defamatory statements made about Covid-19 vaccination at the height of the pandemic.

Judge Datuk Raja Ahmad Mohzanuddin Shah Raja Mohzan also awarded RM50,000 in costs to the former Rembau member of parliament. - NST
