13 new zones, new booking app for Rapid KL On-Demand

 11 new zones in Kuala Lumpur involve MRT stations, with bookings made through the new Rapid On Demand app, and 2 zones booked through Kummute.

Rapid Bus now provides on-demand van services at 47 zones in the Greater Kuala Lumpur area.

KUALA LUMPUR:

 Rapid Bus will introduce 13 new zones in Kuala Lumpur for the Rapid On-Demand service as well as a new booking application, also called Rapid On-Demand, on Monday.

The app will allow for bookings on 11 new zones involving MRT stations, the company said in a statement.

The 11 zones are: MRT Semantan-KTM Segambut; MRT Bukit Dukung-Sungai Sekamat; MRT Sungai Buloh-Bandar Rahman Putra; MRT Serdang Raya Selatan-Taman Bukit Serdang; MRT Metro Prima-Taman Botani Kepong; MRT Kentonmen-Mitec; MRT Sungai Jernih-Taman Puncak Saujana; MRT Serdang Raya Utara-Pavilion Bukit Jalil; MRT Taman Equine-Lestari Perdana; MRT Metro Prima-Taman Bukit Maluri; and MRT Sri Delima-Sri Segambut.

Bookings on the remaining two zones, Kota Kemuning-Gamuda Walk and LRT Alam Megah-Alam Megah can be made on the Kummute app, the company said.

Rapid KL On-Demand services now cover 47 zones with bookings available from 6am to 11.30pm at a promotional price of RM1 per trip. - FMT
