The fight, which was caught on video, erupted following a heated argument at the cashier counter.

Petaling Jaya police chief Shahrulnizam Ja’afar said a fight between a 44-year-old man and a foreigner erupted following an argument at the cashier counter in the June 8 incident.
“Both parties lodged police reports regarding the incident. Following an investigation, police have recorded statements from them.
“We are completing our investigation and will refer the case to the deputy public prosecutor for further action,” he said in a statement.
Shahrulnizam said the case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt.
In a one-minute 20-second video making the rounds on social media, the two could be seen arguing over who was first in line at the counter.
It got more heated when one of them was heard making a disparaging remark about Chinese nationals.
They were then seen wrestling each other outside the store. - FMT
