Perkasa information chief Ruslan Kasim has claimed that DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng does not want to hold a fresh Central Executive Committee (CEC) elections because he is afraid of facing the delegates.
According to New Straits Times, he said: "It is obvious that Lim is afraid of most of DAP’s delegates. That is why we are not surprised when there were allegations that there were 547 illegal delegates at the CEC election last December."

"Without them, surely the votes that Lim, his father Lim Kit Siang and chairman Karpal Singh garnered will be less," he added.
On Tuesday, the Registar of Societies (ROS) ordered DAP to hold re-elections for its CEC.
However, DAP has said it would defy the order because the ROS gave no reasons for its decision.
Guan Eng yesterday lashed out at the ROS, saying that they were subjecting DAP to "arbitrary dictates and high-handed abuse of power".
Meanwhile, Ruslan also went on to say that Guan Eng and Kit Siang's "black political secret will be revealed soon".
"We want to see the reaction (when the 'secret' is revealed) of DAP supporters who listened and believed in the lies of the father and son as though it was a sweet song,” he added.
In another matter, NST reported that Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Nancy Shukri as saying that the police would invoke the Prevention of Crime Act 1959 until a new preventative law to combat serious time can be introduced.
Nancy said that the police will have to rely on the act to combat serious crime "for now".
The government is working on a new law to replace the Emergency Ordinance which was revoked last year. This has drawn wide-spread criticism from NGOs as well as the opposition.
KJ urges no fatwa on female athletes
Meanwhile, Youth and Sports minster Khairy Jamaluddin has urged the National Fatwa Council not to impose a ban on female athletes participating in certain sports such as swimming and gymnastics.
"It is just backwards if they impose a fatwa to ban (muslim) women athletes from certain sports.
"I hope they (the National Fatwa Council) can get all the views before making such an important decision. This is a totally different issue from beauty contestants," he was quoted as saying in the Star.
Last month, four Muslim women were dropped from the Miss World Malaysia beauty contest after Federal Territories Mufti Wan Zahidi Wan Teh pointed out there was a 1996 fatwa against Muslim women participating in such events.
