“Must he wait for the Prime Minister to call him before he returns?”
“These are tasks which are under his responsibilities (as Defence Minister),” quoted Zainuddin from the comment signed by Anak Kelantan. “The people affected are hoping for the armed forces to assist them to cope with the situation.
“Must he wait for the Prime Minister to call him before he returns?”
All this must be kept in mind by the people, stressed Anak Kelantan, when they consider him as a possible Prime Minister.
Zainuddin placed the comment as a new introduction to his earlier posting, in which he criticised the Communications Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department for not anticipating negative perception of the Washington Post report about PM Najib golfing with US President Barack Obama while the East Coast was in crisis.
In the same posting, he appeared to be telling Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to show that he was prime minister material because that was what the public expected.
He also belittled The Star’s apparent endorsement of Hishammuddin as the next Prime Minister.
