IT'S NOT OVER: ROSMAH'S LAWYERS NOW 'FISHING' FOR INFO ON ZETI?

IT'S NOT OVER: ROSMAH'S LAWYERS NOW 'FISHING' FOR INFO ON ZETI?
YOURSAY ‘Will they start flinging mud in each other's versions of expensive handbags?’
Quigonbond: The way PM’s wife Rosmah Mansor’s letter of demand is drafted is strange. If the aggrieved party knows it is a lie, she'll just ask for the defamer to cease and desist and apologise.
The way it is qualified - "if you have information", "you should surrender such information to the authorities" sounds like fishing. Who in the right mind would want to surrender any evidence to the authorities?
The new attorney-general (AG) has already demonstrated on his second day in office that he can easily (or purposely) mix up conjecture with sound theory about conspiracy to topple the PM.
There is no conspiracy - there is just outright anger for PM to step down because his many scandals. How can non-violent political action be a crime?
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) already proves that it takes orders on investigation from AG’s Chambers.
The inspector-general of police (IGP) has already gone mad confusing patriotism and democratic actions with crime against democracy. The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) is stymied.
Evidence will either be ignored, maybe even burnt, and potentially used to net more dissidents.

SSDhaliwal: This is a civil case at best involving slander, hence why must the authorities get involved and why the fear of suing the author for character assassination?
The draft of this law firm in gist looks similar to the letter written by the PM’s lawyers to The Wall Street Journal. The first question posed is a fishing expedition to determine what the author has on her by way of proof.
The third question is the most foolish one of all, as no credible journalist will hand over his sources.
Apa Nama: Messrs Noorhajran Mohd Noor, your client is being implied in the report is not because she is a PM’s wife only but because she is the first and only PM’s wife in the history of Malaysia who gives a lot of headache for taxpayers.
You must understand why previously none of PM’s wives in Malaysia were capable of getting into news in the foreign presses. So what Asia Sentinel’s John Berthelsen reported could not be true now but could be true in few days’ or few weeks’ or even few months’ time.
If the news isn't true, why not your client go ahead and file a defamation suit.
By the way, when is your client’s husband going to file the defamation suit against WSJ?
Negarawan: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Can everyone see now why some people are not blessed God?
Vijay47: Rosmah, I think you have good grounds to go for Bank Negara governor Zeti Akhtar Aziz's jugular. It is obvious to all that she is being "adversarial", as your lawyers put, and she might even be disrespectful towards you.
I mean, for heaven's sake, Zeti is sporting a hairdo that makes her look a zillion times more elegant than you. Go for it, Rosmah, any court in Malaysia will rule in your favour.
Magnus: Will these two heavyweights get into the wrestling ring and start flinging mud in each other's versions of expensive handbags?
RM2.6billion in Mbank: Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim (TMJ), speak up for us. Your words are full of meaning, so deep and true. Continue to talk sense into these leaders. They are now drunk with money.
Anonymous_4056: I am in awe of TMJ for his wisdom, and I salute you, Tunku. We, Johoreans love you.
Ren Ai: There are lots of unsavoury comments on FLOM (First Lady of Malaysia) never before hurled at wives in similar position.
It’s reflective of how negative a perception she has developed among the masses. Still, readers, do be decent.
Anonymous_1421406986: I am charmed by the wisdom of the young prince. But is it right to take potshots at Rosmah? Pray the table is not turned on him by the very people who are praising him now.
Anonymous_1423808262: TMJ usually insinuates in such a manner that makes insinuation into the art of stating the obvious. - Mkini
