Pokok Sena MP voices his dissatisfaction at PM’s actions as thousands gather at Stadium Darul Aman in support of embattled Kedah MB.
ALOR SETAR: Pokok Sena MP Mahfuz Omar has confirmed that Opposition representatives had been summoned to Wisma Darul Aman at 2.30pm tomorrow.
Speaking to FMT, the PAS parliamentarian voiced his dissatisfaction at Prime Minister Najib Razak’s action, stirring problems for the state of Kedah and its people.
“I disagree with Najib’s actions, causing problems for the people, royals, the Sultan, the Kedah Council of Regency and forcing them to summon Barisan Nasional assemblymen and, tomorrow, Opposition assemblymen.”
Mahfuz was adamant that Mukhriz still retained the mandate of the people with thousands turning up tonight at Stadium Darul Aman as a show of solidarity.
“For me,” he said, “I need to know the reason for all this. Please let us know what Mukhriz did wrong that such troubles are imposed on the people of Kedah. What is the problem?
“This shows that the actions taken by Najib are unwarranted, merely to destroy his political enemy, Mukhriz. This is unfair.
“Do his mistakes surpass that of Najib’s?”
He noted that thousands had turned up in support of the embattled Kedah MB, proving that he still retained the confidence of the people.
