Five journalists from The Malaysian Insider were questioned under three laws for four hours in Bukit Aman today.
The five – editor Jahabar Sadiq, managing editor Lionel Morais, assistant news editor V. Anbalagan and sub-editors Abdar Rahman Koya and Srihanasham Noordin – gave their statements to both police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
They were investigated under Section 124 (i) of the Penal Code, Section 8 (a) of the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984 and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. – February 26, 2016.
