The aide to the prime miniser's wife, Rizal Mansor, has not taken kindly to PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli's calling him a "bag handler" of Rosmah Mansor.
Firing back, Rizal reminded that even a mere "coffee boy" could bring down Rafizi's boss, in apparent reference to jailed PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim.
"Rafizi can insult me with what names he wants to call me but it does not bother me.
"If indeed I am what he assumes me to be, then why did he need to block a bag handler from attending his press conference?
"Do not forget that even a coffee boy can send your boss behind bars," he said in a Facebook posting.
Rizal appeared to be referring to Saiful Bukhari Azlan whom Anwar's opponents had described as the former opposition leader's "coffee boy".
Saiful later accused Anwar of sodomising him, resulting in Anwar being sentenced to five years in prison in February last year.
Anwar had insisted that the conviction was politically motivated.
Rizal also accused Rafizi of not being a man and called him "anak ikan", which is a slang for homosexual in the Malay language.
Rafizi had said he only wanted to face Rosmah instead of her "bag handler" after Rizal was prevented from attending the press conference.
Rafizi was conducting a series of press conference to highlight Rosmah's use of a government private jet.
In a separate statement, Rizal said he had from the onset made clear that he was not someone of significance.
"But I am proud that even a bag handler can frighten Rafizi to the extent that I could not even attend his press conference.
"Please be a man, Rafizi, not like 'anak ikan'," he said.- Mkini
