No more excuses, arrest my ex-husband, Indira tells IGP

For nine long years, M Indira Gandhi was hoping for a decision that would put a finality to her three children's conversions, and today, the Federal Court served it to her.
Now, all the kindergarten teacher wants to do is share her happiness with her youngest daughter Prasana Diksa, whom she had not seen since the latter was a baby.
"The only sad part is I cannot share this moment with my youngest daughter, who is not with me and my family. It has already been nine years for me not seeing her.
"All I want now is to hug her (Prasana Diksa). It has been nine long years and I have yet to see my youngest child. As a mother, I long to see her and be united with her following today's decision," she told reporters following the Federal Court's verdict which ruled in her favor.
While thanking her lawyers and the judges who made the landmark decision today, Indira, 43, expressed hope that the inspector-general of police Mohd Fuzi Harun would now focus on tracking down her ex-husband K Pathmanathan @ Mohd Ridhuan Abdullah, and arrest him for taking Prasana Diksa in 2009, when she was only 11 months old.

Indira's mother S Vengammah (right in photo), 75, who was also present, had a message to relay to the police and the IGP.
"The IGP has no excuse now, and he has to do what is required of him. He has to start now (the process of finding and arresting Ridhuan)," she said.
The Federal Court had in April 2016 ordered the police to arrest Ridhuan after he failed to turn up in court, and an arrest warrant was issued.
Then IGP Khalid Abu Bakar had said the police will abide by the court order, but no arrest has since been made.
Meanwhile, the Malay Mail Online quoted IGP Fuzi saying that the police will now track down Ridzuan.
"Yes, following the development today we will abide by the court order.
"I will instruct my men to track down the daughter and also the ex-husband," he was quoted as saying.
