PAS veep gives Muhyiddin an 'A' for first 100 days

Malaysiakini

After 100 days under the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration, coalition member PAS believes that Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and his team have performed well and deserve high marks.
PAS vice-president Mohd Amar Abdullah voiced his opinion that Muhyiddin had managed the federal government well, especially considering that the country was facing the Covid-19 outbreak.
"In my personal view, I am satisfied. He has been able to deal with issues that are out of the ordinary and unforeseen and this demonstrates his ability as prime minister.
"He has a good team with great teamwork. If I can give him marks, his score is high, make it an A," he told the media after a Kelantan government executive council meeting at the JKR10 official residence in Kota Bharu today.
Amar (centre in photo), who is also Kelantan deputy menteri besar, said this when asked how Muhyiddin's administration had performed in its first 100 days in power.
Muhyiddin, who is Pagoh MP, took the surprise step by pulling Bersatu out of Pakatan Harapan and forming the PN government with PAS, BN, and the Sarawak GPS coalition.
Meanwhile, when asked about the process of distributing seats between PAS and Umno, Amar said discussions on the matter only involved top leaders between the parties.
The PAS central committee has been mandated to make a decision on this.
"We at the state level will follow what is decided, we have not discussed these issues.
"We hope the process goes well and we have a formula that everyone accepts," he added. - Mkini
