PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will make an announcement regarding the movement control order (MCO) on Sunday (June 7).
The current conditional MCO period is supposed to end on Tuesday (June 9).
His announcement will be broadcast live at 3pm Sunday on national TV and social media platforms.
On Saturday (June 6), Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said barbershops, hair salons and beauty parlours can resume operations on June 10, while open markets, morning markets, night markets and bazaars would be allowed to resume operations on June 15.
However, educational institutions and congregational prayers remain closed to the general public.
