JOHOR BAHRU: A two-year-old girl died after falling from the 16th floor of an apartment in Taman Daya here on Tuesday.
Johor Bahru Selatan police chief Raub Selamat said they received a report about the incident at about 9.15pm.
He said the incident occurred at about 8.50pm and was discovered by a couple, aged 56 and 78, who were closely related to the victim.
“Before the incident, the girl and her family had just finished relaxing at the swimming pool. The couple brought her home (to the 16th floor apartment unit) while waiting for her mother and other family members to return from the launderette on the seventh floor of the building.

Raub said the girl is believed to have fallen through an open bedroom window that does not have grilles. - FMT
