PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has promoted two senior officers as part of efforts to strengthen its leadership structure.
Datuk Mohd Hafaz Nazar has been appointed as Senior Director of the MACC Investigation Division. He previously served as Senior Director of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA).
Penang MACC director Datuk Karunanithy Y. Subbiah has been promoted to Senior Director of MACA.
In a statement, MACC said the appointments, which take effect today, recognise the officers' strong performance, commitment and integrity throughout their service.
"The appointments and promotions reflect the commission's efforts to strengthen its leadership structure while ensuring efficient service delivery to the public," it said.
MACC expressed confidence that both officers would continue to drive excellence and strengthen governance with integrity, in line with its commitment to developing competent and accountable human capital.
The commission also urged all officers to remain dedicated in carrying out their responsibilities and to uphold integrity in all aspects of their duties. - NST
