Why, why, why only now, after one long year. Firstly, it is not easy to forge an individual's handwriting or even try to make it look similar, and it is even harder if it is in Chinese characters. If it is short and simple like a signature on a cheque, an expert forger may be able to slip in one without being caught.
The latest report from Malaysia Chronicle:
"AG's 'note' not a suicide note but indicates Teoh's frame of mind"
The ‘note’ found by investigators in Teoh Beng Hock’s sling bag is not a suicide note although it may show his state of mind, lawyers for his family and his former boss Ean Yong told Malaysia Chronicle.
Even if it is not a suicide note, the contents, which may indicate Teoh Beng Hock's frame of mind, must be momentous enough for the Attorney General to want to present it at this late stage of the inquest.
The AG and other conspirators may not be that stupid after all if speculation is true that the note was fabricated. By writing an indirect suicide note, it may look more credible and believable.
At the outset of the incident, all government institutions involved in the investigation, including the government itself, had already made up their minds that the final verdict must show a "committed suicide" verdict.
Along the way, an obedient barking dog would speak about the "suicide" note to introduce the possibility into the minds of the public and place it on standby mode should it be needed.
The conspirators had tried their best during the inquest to justify that it was a "suicide case" but failed to convince. When it looked like they would not be able to have it their way, the latest "suicide" note suddenly came into play.
To fabricate and get ready a "suicide" note is not easy and requires a lot of time.
1) They would need to search for samples of Teoh Beng Hock's hand written notes in Chinese.
2) They need to source for an expert forger, most likely a foreigner who is easier to buy over and has no affection for the country's welfare.
3) They would need to study what is to be written although this is made slightly easier because they had the chance to hear what was said during the inquest, and had also interviewed all family members, friends and foes.
No one other than the conspirators knew the contents of the "suicide" note. I would assume that this "suicide" note might be a short one rather than a long sad story because the longer the forger has to write, the more mistakes he is going to make,"
For sure, there will be less outcry if the "suicide" note was "discovered" at Teoh Beng Hock's office, home or even inside his car.
Who in their right minds would believe that the "suicide" note was not discovered until only after a second search was made of the sling bag, which inexplicably was still kept by the police after completion of their investigation and not returned to his family.
Until the AG can proved that the "suicide" note is authentic and written by Teoh Beng Hock, I will continue to speculate and assume that it is all a fabrication to protect the real murderers and the reputation of the MACC.
