KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 17 — Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s remarks on Japan’s recent tsunami tragedy must be read in their entirety first before they are judged, Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz told Parliament today.

The minister in the Prime Minister’s Department was responding to PAS lawmaker Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff, who had demanded for an explanation over Rosmah’s recently reported remarks.

“This is PAS-style, accusing people without reading the context in full. You have to read what was said by the First Lady in full, there is an explanation for it,” said Nazri.

Nazri, however, did not elaborate in his reply to Siti Zailah.

The prime minister’s wife had allegedly said the Japanese tsunami tragedy was a result of Japan’s carelessness in not implementing environmentally-friendly development programmes.

“If you want an explanation, you may submit in a question for me to reply,” added Nazri.
