In spite of Deepavali or Diwali or Divali is a festival celebrated by all Hindu devotees around the world and public holidays in Malaysia, but the big question for the people of Sabah because of the Housing Census 2010, there were only 12.004 people in India in the state.

With only 6.886 adults and about 5,000 of them registered as a Registered Electors, the Indians in Sabah able to enjoy a better life than other minorities in Sabah, especially in key positions in government, politics and business opportunities.
In accordance with the Deepavali is celebrated on this day, October 26, 2011 ie the 14th day of the calendar month Aipasi Tamil (between October and November) known as 'Festival of Lights' Indian community living in the care of Sabah under the BN government.
But the fact should not be celebrated Deepavali in Sabah because most of the Indian community and the MIC consists of foreigners who have their MyKad project, and the majority of UMNO members and has MyKad Muslims while most of them are still continuing the Hindu religious activities because it was never converted to Islam; unless islamized National Registration Department without their consent.
Chairman of the Sabah MIC should ashamed of this scenario and does not invite the Deputy Prime Minister for opening the Deepavali Open House on Sunday because it will invite the scorn of the people of Sabah's identity due to poor starts hating Straight BN BN leaders treated them over the years.
Many members of the MIC also is a member of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Indian Muslims (MICC), which led the Commissioner Baisul Khan; KIMMA and various other associations should merge with Umno to celebrate 'UMNOVALI' because almost all members of the MIC and the MICC in Sabah Umno members.
Well done and congratulations to V. Jothi being able to deceive the Deputy Prime Minister and the people of Sabah that the Indians have contributed significantly to Sabah even though 90 percent of this Project IC traders illegally sent to India with the blessing of the MIC!
