DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang today pledged that Pakatan Rakyat will order a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into the alleged misappropriation of a RM250 million government soft loan by the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) if it captures federal power.

Lim (right) said this in a statement today after Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin had said yesterday that there was no need for a RCI into the scandal.
"It smacks of conflict of interest on Muhyiddin's part and he should exclude himself from any decision-making as to whether there should be a RCI into the cattle condo scandal, instead of being so gung-ho in opposing the proposal."
Muhyiddin was then agriculture and agro-based industry minister when the country's mooted largest beef production centre in Gemas was approved.
