Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng said today he is prepared to get Danny Ng, the victim who was assaulted by an i-City KFC staff member this week, to make peace in exchange for an apology.
"I will try to convince the victim to shake hands and make peace and move forward with those who assaulted him at KFC if the perpetrator apologises," he said at a press conference today.
This offer was made hours before Ng was scheduled for a witness identification session of the perpetrator, at Shah Alam district police station this afternoon.

Lim added that KFC’s management has agreed to meet Ng next week at its headquarters.
"Ng will be accompanied by a DAP lawyer on both occasions," he said.
Ng was featured in aYoutube video - that has gone viral since its upload - showing a KFC employee assaulting him.
Lim said that KFC should apologise for its failure to prevent such an incident.
However, he said the staff who had attempted to restraint his colleague should be given due credit.
"We should praise them for their effort to hold back those who wanted to attack Ng," he said.
