VAN CONVERTED TO BANANA STORE AT TANJONG ARU, KOTA KINABALU

STORE....The broken down van sitting in the parking lot converted as a banana store
THERE IS a broken van taken up a public parking space in the Tanjong Aru town here which caused public complaint filed to the Sabah DAP Kota Kinabalu Women Wing.
The people said how come a broken down van is allowed to take up a public parking lot and being converted to a banana store while there is a serious lack of parking space during peak hours.
It is impossible to find a parking space in Tanjong Aru because there is just not enough park lot here. They also said that whether the broken down van is paying the parking fees or not, but even with that it is not right to park there permanently because someone else also need to use the space.
KK DAP women wing said that DBKK must act upon this issue and get the van removed. The parking lot has to be opened for use by everybody and not for parking a broken down van only. There are many people can make use of it during peak hours. It is unfair for someone to monopolize that particular lot.
The KK DAP women wing also calls upon the DBKK to create and to increase the parking lots in Tanjong Aru in order to cater for the ever increasing number of cars here. It is almost impossible to find a parking lot nowadays, and illegal car parking is rampant. May be someone should consider to build a multi-storey car park here soon. - Sabahkini
