WHY KG KIANGARAN ROAD NEVER UPGRADE?

AS ANNOUNCED that the Prime Minister will be coming to Kg Kiangaran in Tambunan to perform the ground breaking ceremony in June this year for the proposed KadazanDusun College.
The local folks said that the government should make good the existing road first. They also brought their grouses to the Sabah DAP vice chairman cum the Local government and housing Bureau Chief Edward Ewol Mujie concerning the very deplorable condition of the present access road which is leading from the Tambunan roundabout into the Kg Kiangaran.
They said the logic is to solve the present problem first, before embarking on other future plans. They said they welcome the setting up of the college, but will that happen in the very near future, and at the meantime the people here continue to suffer bone ache and to pay for heavy maintenance cost to their vehicles.
The road had been in the same bad condition for many years, and complaints had been made repeatedly, and very sad to say all these fall into deft ears of the authorities the YB there.
Edward said the announcement could be another empty promise made by the BN for the purpose of the coming general election to attract votes from the area. This type of trick had been used many times before, and whether the BN will build the college when they take back power after the next election, is still questionable.
There are many examples in the past election where BN always made big announce and promised the sky, and later they just casually forgot all about it. Many big projects were announced and the people can only see the erection of a simple sign board on the site.
The typical example can be seen in the construction of the SMK Nabalu and Sg. Damit Bridge both in the Tuaran District.
Edward said the Prime Minister Datuk Najib Tun Razak should visit the area by road and not to fly there in the helicopter. He should take a car ride deep into the various kampongs in the area to experience the bad roads here.
Don’t sit in the big Ninja King or comfortable 4x4 vehicles, but should try the kampong cars as the villagers does in traveling in and out the kampongs every day. He should do this if he wants to walk the talk and be with the people. We want to see he does that! - Sabahkini

  6. Aduan mengenai jalan yang tidak dinaiktaraf ini seharusnya dilihat sendiri. Mungkin sudah tiba masanya peruntukkan diberikan kepada kawasan tersebut.
