Why is Penang seen to be better managed than Selangor?
PODCAST For the 17th Middle Malaysia podcast, media consultant Oon Yeoh speaks to Tricia Yeoh, a former aide to Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim and a prolific columnist who writes for theSun, Selangor Times and Penang Monthly.
She recently launched a ‘State of Reform', a compilation of her articles from Penang Monthly, which is available in major bookstores.
In comparing the two Pakatan Rakyat states of Penang and Selangor, Yeoh explains why she thinks there is a perception that Penang is better managed than Selangor.
Yeoh also talks about the coming general election - on why she thinks it will most likely be next year before national election is called and why she thinks Pakatan will probably not be able to take over Putrajaya this time around.
She also discusses the issue of crossovers and how that might affect the election results.
Lastly, she discusses the notion of running for public office and whether she would be keen to throw her hat in the ring for GE13.
Listen to Yeoh in this 12-minute podcast.
