Onam Ashamsakal
Once again the Malayalee community in Malaysia ushers in the harvest and thanksgiving festival of Onam, a special celebration that transcends religious barriers. I would like to take this opportunity to join my fellow Malaysians in wishing them “Onam Ashamsakal”. May Onam’s spirit of inclusiveness prevail and bring abundance all year through to the community and our nation. I call upon the Malayalee community in Malaysia to continue their partnership with the Government based on “vishwasam”, or trust, in our journey to truly transform Malaysia.
