Sabah which was a traditional "fixed deposit" for UMNO/BN and with the recent defection and news of further defection has made UMNO/BN President/Chairman Najib Tun Razak to make a "sudden" visit to the State this afternoon to convince supporters and voters to continue supporting BN for a continued progress.
Sabah, even after having given their undivided support have been neglected for so long and progress and uplifting the lives of the Sabahans have never been the ultimate goal of the UMNO/BN regime.
Sabah is the poorest State in Malaysia while it has a abundance of natural resources which the federal government under UMNO/BN receive income from. But schemes to uplift the Sabahans is so slowing moving that Sabah leaders feel that they could do better under the Opposition.
It will depend on Najib today to convince how he is going to uplift the Sabahans.
