KUALA LUMPUR -- Barisan Nasional (BN) is confident that it will be able to wrestle back the Titiwangsa parliamentary seat in the 13th general election, especially after various incentives and developments were implemented in Kampung Baru.
Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin said the government was serious in developing Kampung Baru through the Kampung Baru Development Corporation, including by the redevelopment of Jalan Raja Bot Market and the implementation of nine other big-scale and high-impact projects.
"Unlike the opposition leaders who plan to abolish the corporation if they win the election, the government is serious in giving its attention on the development of Kampung Baru.
"So, the residents of Kampung Baru must think wisely about what's best for them and who should they vote for," he told reporters after visiting Kampung Baru here Wednesday.
During the visit, Raja Nong Chik also launched the ornamental lamps in Jalan Raja Abdullah, which is another tourist destinations in the country's capital.
