KUANTAN, Feb 17 — A three-day remand order for an Indonesian maid who allegedly injured her employer's baby boy after hurling him in the air at a house in Bukit Setongkol here, ends tomorrow.
The 24-year-old suspect is facilitating investigations under Section 31(1) of the Child Act 2010. Kuantan police deputy chief Supt Aziz Ahmad said today, the police were waiting for a full report from the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Kuantan Hospital before deciding on the next course of action.
On Feb 15, the victim's 42-year-old father lodged a police report over the incident which occurred in the living room of his house.
The four-month-old baby sustained hand and leg injuries. The man had watched the alleged baby hurling incident from the closed-circuit camera at his house, via a computer, while having breakfast at a restaurant at 7.45am. — Bernama
