This is from The Star. It shows the power of just one meteorite, maybe slightly larger than usual. 

• Residents in Chelyabinsk heard explosion, saw a bright light and felt a shockwave, 
• windows shattered and mobile phones worked only intermittently.
• 400 people sought medical help, caused by flying glass.
• Windows were shattered and some of the frames of shop fronts buckled.
• shockwave could be felt in apartment buildings 
• "felt a shockwave that smashed windows."
• A wall was damaged at the Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant 
• blast at altitude of 32,800 feet, occurred when meteorite entered atmosphere.
