One blunder after another, BN style

YOURSAY 'The story gets worse and more and more unbelievable as the plot drags on. Again, the police is being used as their fall guy.'

Attempt on Psy's life real, says Penang CPO
your sayMahashitla: Korean pop singer Psy is a mega star and whichever country he goes to perform, he will attract a mega crowd.

As such, the local police will normally provide security and crowd control. It is irresponsible of Bukit Aman to allow the show to go on if they had specific information that someone or group was going to kill Psy.

Clearly, BN is trying to save face and they need the police to back them up.

Ex-Perakian: Story spinners, both of them. If they had successfully protected Psy they should have kept mum about it. And if there really was such an attempt, Psy wouldn't even attend the 'low-key'dinner at a Korean restaurant after the concert.

Are Malaysians assassins now? And what's their motive?

Indeed, all Malaysians are asking for one thing - GE13. There is no need to do so much spinning, especially over unimportant things like the concert.

It didn't put food on the table for the many who are hungry and poor. Instead good ‘sponsored' money flew off in a chartered jet.

Kbe: The Malaysian opposition leader's life was also under threat on numerous occasions when he was, among others, pelted with stones and other objects, but it seems the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is more concerned about the security and safety of foreign celebrities.

SRMan: Now that there was a real attempt to take Psy's life, foreign celebrities take note - think twice before committing to coming to perform here in future.

Caripasal: The entire BN government and PDRM should stop the lies. Facing the reality of rejection by rakyat is not a sin but lying is.

The accusation has tarnished the good name of this country, and it is contrary to the claim by the police that Malaysia is safe. Perhaps we should seek clarification from Psy himself about the attempted murder.

Multi Racial: State BN chief Teng Chang Yeow and Penang chief police officer Abdul Rahim Hanafi, please do not insult our intelligent with this ridiculous lie.

If what these two said was true then why expose Psy to danger by allowing him to perform on stage unprotected, not just for one song but also the encore?

Why the prime minister was also allowed to on stage unprotected? If you want to cheat, try to do it intelligently. Both are a disgrace to the nation.

Anonymous #55961902: Someone had said it rightly, why was Psy's life not threatened when he was on the stage performing. It was only during the ‘lo shang' (yee sang) that all of a sudden they said Psy's life was in danger.

How stupid could this be? These goons are always good at creating stories and expect the poeple to believe them. They could not stomach the fact that the people left the hall immediately after the show was over.

Yahoo: After the first song, Psy rested a couple of minutes backstage and came out again for the encore. If his life was threatened, would the police have allowed him to perform again? What a pack of lies.

Opah: So Psy's life was in danger if he had participated in the ‘yee sang' toss but miraculously he was not in danger when he performed ‘Gangnam Style' a few minutes later.

I hope the police understand why we have no respect for them anymore. The fairy tales they tell...

Headhunter: This is just like a third-rate Bollywood script. The story gets worse and more and more unbelievable as the plot drags on. Again, the police is being used as their fall guy. Pathological liars, all of them.

Disgusted: What load of rubbish is this? It's all a red herring thrown by BN to deflect all negative things that happened against BN in Penang.

Who wants to kill Psy and why? Next, they will spin about some Christians and Jews planning to do it.

Kalui 64: Latest report received from the CIA. If Lo Shang failed to kill Psy, then his sidekick Yee Sang would do so.

When Psy comes into contact with Yee Sang, the deadly snake venom (it's the Year of the Snake) on his chopstick will kill the K-pop star instantly.

Absalom: I am sure all Malaysians are thankful to our police for being so vigilant, deftly working behind the scenes to safeguard the singer's life and the country's reputation.

After getting the tip on the 'attempt' on his life, they cleverly put him on stage in front of thousands of people.

Perhaps they received the information that the suspected 'killer' was not a fan of ‘Gangnam Style'. All in all, a brilliant public relations outing for the PM and BN.

Abasir: I believe the Umno police will come up with some parangs 'discovered' near the vicinity, a cryptic email message from Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, and to make the story complete, throw in a couple of Indians who will confess to being hired by him to carry out the evil deed. - Malaysiakini
