The Selangor government is prepared to give developer Dolomite Properties Sdn Bhd an avenue to clarify its proposal to construct the Park Avenue condominium project in Selayang.
Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said the developer can meet with the Selayang Municipal Council to provide its explanation.
“Dolomite has its own incentives and they can meet the council to explain. On the part of the council, they can also express their views which could be discussed in the state planning unit meeting,” he told a press conference in Shah Alam today.
On Feb 8, it was reported that Dolomite Properties had claimed that the project is safe and will not affect the environment.
Its managing director Lew Choong Keong (left) said the company has appointed an independent consultant to carry out a study, in the wake of objections from the Indian community to the proximity of the project to the iconic Batu Caves.
