NAME the 3 Opposition leaders allegedly behind Lahad Datu - Surendran challenges Zahid

Zahid given 24 hours to reveal evidence of Opposition involvement in Lahad Datu case

I refer to the statement by caretaker Defence Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi alleging that 3 opposition leaders are behind the Lahad Datu intrusion. Shockingly, Zahid Hamidi failed to provide any evidence to support this wild and dangerous allegation.

The statement is a transparent attempt to cause political damage to Pakatan Rakyat during the General Election. It is also an attempt to shift attention from the BN government's incompetence in dealing with Lahad Datu incident which was allowed to drag on for several months.

Name the 3

I hereby challenge Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to immediately name the so-called 3 opposition leaders involved with the Lahad Datu incident within 24 hours from today. Any failure to reveal the names and evidence of their involvement will be proof that that this is another shameful and irresponsible slander (fitnah) upon PR leaders.

I further call upon the BN leadership to renounce the politics of slander and lies, and instead engage in rational debate with PR during this election period.
