No way Indians will forget Zul Noordin's insults, Surendran slams Najib for BLATANT INSINCERITY

No way Indians will forget Zul Noordin's insults, Surendran slams Najib for BLATANT INSINCERITY
I refer to the statement by caretaker PM Najib Razak on 22April 2013, calling upon people “to forget about” the gross insults that were made by Zulkifli Noordin against the Indian community and the Hindu religion.
This statement is a shocking direct interference by the PM into a criminal case. Police reports have been lodged against on Zulkifli’s remarks calling for action to be taken under the Penal code. Zulkifli’s remarks were clearly a criminal act punishable under section 298A of the Penal Code. Clearly Najib is now condoning the criminal act by Zulkifli Noordin who is the BN / Perkasa candidate for Shah Alam.
Interference
Despite the seriousness of Zulkifli Noordin’s remarks, the Attorney General and the IGP have yet to take any action against him. Najib’s statement now makes it clear that there has been instructions given by UMNO and the BN government to the IGP/AG not to take action against Zulkifli Noordin.
This was done to enable Najib to field Zulkifli Noordin as a candidate in the General Election. This interference by the caretaker PM seriously undermines the functioning of the criminal justice system. In light of Najib’s statement, can we expect the police and the AG to take action against Zulkifli Noordin?
Double standards
In contrast with Zulkifli Noordin’s case Keadilan leader Tian Chua was hastily charged under the Sedition Act for the remarks he had made against UMNO. By charging Tian Chua and letting off Zulkifli Noordin, Najib has practiced double standards in the administration of the country.
We call upon the caretaker PM, the AG and the IGP to take immediate action against Zulkifli Noordin under S.298A of the Penal Code; and we further call upon Najib and Umno BN to cease all interference and undermining of independent institutions such as the police and the AG’s office.
