Alamak !! Khazanah To Lose Another RM1.0 Billion Duit Rakyat??

Speculation rife out-of-court settlement being hammered out for 

Halim Saad's   case

• out-of-court settlement is being hammered out to conclude the controversial suit filed by Tan Sri Halim Saad against Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop and two others over allegations that he was forced to sell his stake in Renong/UEM Group to Khazanah Nasional Bhd in 2001.
• The settlement figure bandied around is about RM1bil.
• Halim is claiming about RM2bil
• sources claim the parties involved have met via their intermediaries 
• Halim alleged that he was “fraudulently induced’’ to sell the shares 
• did not receive the agreed amount of RM1.3bil, tracts of land including those in Iskandar Malaysia, and interest in Kualiti Alam as part of agreement 2011 
• he only got RM165mil, of which RM100mil was first instalment for put option that was refunded to him, and RM65mil for interest and costs.

This reminds me of the late Tun Ghaffar Baba. He used to pronounce "billions" as 'ber-beliyon beliyon'.  

So who exactly is going to pay Halim Saad this cool RM1.0 'beliyon' in this "out of court settlement"?  Khazanah Nasional? Folks - you better start asking.  It sounds like our money again.  

I have said it before - it is time to wind up Khazanah Nasional Bhd. Just return all those shares that were given to Khazanah back to wherever they came from (because that is how Khazanah got started). They have deviated far, far away from their original intent.
