Anwar: Step up security to ensure Sanjeevan's safety
The police must step up the “grossly inadequate” security surrounding hospitalised NGO chairperson R Sri Sanjeevan as his life is still under threat, said PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim.
“We call on the IGP to beef up the security arrangements at the hospital where Sanjeevan is being treated.
“Without going too much into the details, we know that the current security detail is grossly inadequate.
“We are certain that the threat still remains and the police must therefore step up the security for his safety immediately,” said Anwar at a press conference today.
