Man killed, two injured in shooting outside Penang temple

A man was killed while two others were seriously injured after they were shot by two men on a motorcycle in Ujung Batu, Butterworth.

The deceased was identified as M. Ravindran, 19, who was hit three times near the left ribs.

Two other victims, aged 51 and 18, were rushed to the Seberang Jaya Hospital for treatment during the 10.30pm incident yesterday, reported Star online.

The three victims were said to be waiting outside the temple when the two men rode up to them and shot them.

Penang CID chief SAC Mazlan Kesah said police have recovered six bullet shells at the scene.
