I refer to the article published by The Star today that alleges top leaders of KEADILAN have prepared a resignation letter for Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, Menteri Besar of Selangor.
This allegation is false, is nothing but utter lies and a smokescreen. The writer is in fact covering up the reality that MCA, which owns The Star, is in complete disarray over its inability to produce a credible candidate to contest the upcoming Kajang by-election.
MCA and its newly-minted President is also under extreme pressure to not concede the Kajang state seat to other component parties in BN, even though the signs are clear that MCA has yet to regain its footing and is still considered a 'sinking political ship'.
Rather than casting such allegations, including the allegation by MCA President Dato' Seri Liow Tiong Lai that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was responsible for Ops Lalang when all Malaysians know that it was a draconian act of consolidating Dr Mahathir's iron-fisted rule, MCA should focus on self-reflection as to why people still consider MCA nothing but irrelevant to Malaysian politics.
