Passers-by stopped to look at the bikini-clad Caucasian women, who were in their 20s and 30s, who later took off their bikini tops and did not seem bothered

  • "I saw the four bikini-clad women laying mats on the sand and later, at around 2pm, the women who were in their 20s and 30s taking off their bikini tops. I quickly came out of the sea and cleaned up at the public toilet nearby. Then I took out the camera from my car and took several shots of their unusual act as proof."
  • "Later, I approached them but upon realising their act was discovered, they covered their bodies with towels," said Chow. "I hope that authorities will monitor action by foreign tourists so that they respect our Asian culture especially while conducting themselves in public areas," said Chow Weng who is in his 30s.

According to Latif Ahmad, a 61-year-old public toilet and shower caretaker, remembered the four women whom he noticed had come from a four-star hotel nearby at around noon on Wednesday

  • "They asked if I had umbrellas for rent. They took a chair, several mats, with foods and drinks to the spot at the beach which is about 30 metres away from my location. However, I did not see them sunbathing topless as my view to the beach was blocked but I did see a guy with a camera taking photographs of something at the beach," he said.

While The Star reported that it could not be verified whether the four women were staying at any of the hotels along the stretch, MalaysianDigest reported that they came from Sydney

  • Latif said the four women later came to clean up in the shower room around 4pm. "They told me they came from Sydney. They later left in a taxi heading towards town," said Latif who was surprised when told that the women had sunbathed topless at the beach.

Meanwhile, Port Dickson Municipal Council (MPPD) president Datuk Ab Khalid Mat said they have yet to receive any complaint of such incident

  • "We hope that the public who witnessed such incidents at Port Dickson beaches to immediately inform the authorities for further action. "Although this is a small incident MPPD view it seriously so we will conduct an investigation," he said.
