Teo, the Rasah MP, was detained after turning up at the Dang Wangi police station this morning with his lawyer, Wong Kah Woh, and a few supporters, to record his statement over the rally.
Yong told media that the police have confirmed that his client was detained, but no further information was provided.
"His statement has yet to be recorded and we are unsure whether YB (Yeo) will be released on bail.
"It depends on the police, we are still waiting for answers from the police," Wong said.
Teo is the sixth Pakatan leader to be detained by police over the rally.
Meanwhile, PKR vice-president and Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar is scheduled to give her statement to the police this Monday over the rally.
On Wednesday, PAS Youth treasurer Mohd Fakhrul Razi was arrested, a day after police detained PKR secretary-general Rafizi Ramli and Mohd Fariz Musa.
PKR Youth chief Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, who is also a Selangor lawmaker, and Kelana Jaya PKR Youth leader Saifullah Zulkifli were also arrested earlier this week over the rally.
The rally last Saturday was aimed at pressing Putrajaya to release opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from jail following the Federal Court verdict upholding his sodomy conviction on February 10.
Police had allowed Saturday's rally to proceed smoothly, but began rounding up its organisers the next day.
The rally reportedly drew 5,000 to 10,000 people, according to various estimates.
