KUALA LUMPUR - CAGM is prepared to offer hefty rewards to individuals who can provide substantial information and evidence that can lead to the recovery of hidden cash and assets belonging to former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
The reward is worth up to RM1 million per individual, based on the substantiality, authenticity and importance of the evidence that can be utilized by law enforcement agencies to recover these hidden wealth.
Terms and conditions apply, and identities of individuals with information will be protected by CAGM at all costs.
CAGM has carried out its own research and concurs with previous reports in the media that Dr. Mahathir managed to stay in power for 22 years because he had access to vast fortune, most of it believed to be hidden offshore through a complex layer of companies, nominees and proxies.
In fact, Dr. Mahathir was exposed by Wikipedia (citing 53 references) in December 2012 as the second richest former head of government after deposed Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, with an estimated networth of US44 billion.
There is a very high probability that due to this staggering wealth, Mahathir has remained kingmaker in Malaysian politics even after his retirement.
CAGM also urges Parliament to table a Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Asset) and Imposition of Tax Bill that will unearth unaccounted wealth stashed abroad by politicians, their families and proxies.
A special task force must be set up by the Government to find and bring back this black money' kept abroad by Malaysian politicians, especially that of former Prime Ministers and even the current leadership.
