Chicken Najib seeks refuge in Saudi Arabia after the Nothing2Hide Forum disappearing act

Given his decision not to attend the Nothing2Hide Forum, after having agreed, coupled with several cowardly acts before this, it’s clear that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has bitten off more than he can chew by latching on to a Bugis heritage which does nothing to help him hang to his job. “Former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad’s presence at the Forum was the absolute proof that there’s not even one drop of Bugis blood in Najib.”

The consensus is that Najib was using security as an excuse to skip the Forum and hide everything as usual. “Mahathir’s presence at the Forum exposed him.”

“There has never been a leader like him. He’s only brave on his own, away from critics, uttering all sorts of things, but afraid to face anyone face to face. The Bugis are not like him.”

“The Bugis are not like Najib,” reiterated political analyst Shahbudin Husin in his latest blog posting. “They are strong spirited and brave and not given to much speech. They don’t go around here and there screaming at the top of their voices and will not be tricked into protecting something they shouldn’t.”

“He (Najib) said he will fight. The Bugis, unlike Najib, will fight right up to the rooftop.”

The analyst, who has written several books on politics, was commenting on public reaction to the Nothing2Hide Forum which Najib skipped on Friday morning after keeping nearly 3,000 people including Mahathir, waiting from even before 10 am. “The consensus of public opinion is that Najib has shamed himself, UMNO which he leads, the Cabinet and the Government.”

Shahbudin referred to the Tunku Mahkota of Johor, Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, dominating the public space on the aborted Nothing2Hide Forum. He noted that Tunku Ismail took to his Johor Southern Tigers FaceBook Page to dismiss the notion that someone who has everything to hide will turn up at a Forum with the theme, Nothing2Hide. “Definitely he will not turn up!”

“Those who have been given the trust should not blame the people if they lose their belief and confidence in the leadership. Think why the people have lost their belief and confidence in you!” Shahbudin quoted the Tunku as writing on his FaceBook page.

“You can say that this is proof of Bugis blood. He’s doesn’t hesitate to chastise leaders who don’t take the feelings of the people into consideration,” said the political analyst. “It’s well-known that the Johor Ruler descended from the Bugis.”

“The Tunku has come down on the side of the people on the aborted Nothing2Hide Forum.”
