'MAH WILL BE SO HAPPY' - Najib finds 'gold' ring for Rosmah while Dr M laughs in new Pokemon game

'MAH WILL BE SO HAPPY' - Najib finds 'gold' ring for Rosmah while Dr M laughs in new Pokemon game
KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Najib Razak’s decision to give the Nothing2Hide dialogue a miss last Friday has come back to haunt him in a rather bizarre way; a Pokemon game.
The video entitled “Najib vs Mahathir (Pokemon) – PWTC final bout” is a hilarious parody of the forum that was supposed to have taken place at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) but was called off at the last minute due to security concerns.
In the 2.31-minute parody of the video game, Najib is seen duelling with former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
The video begins with a caricature that resembles Najib frantically escaping from the forum venue after being distracted by a gold ring that he immediately thinks “Mah will be so happy with” (most likely his wife, Rosmah Mansor).
The ring however turns out to be a ruse created by Mahathir who “knew he’d (Najib) fall for it” after which the duo proceed to a brilliant face-off.
In the video, Najib is presented with four options i.e. to fight, run, grab a goodie bag or have access to his cabinet ministers.
With the option to run being made unavailable to him since one “can’t run from Tun M!” the PM reluctantly chooses to fight instead and is faced with four other options i.e. BR1M (government aid), KBAB (IGP’s Twitter handle), Maslan (deputy finance minister) and blackout (in reference to the infamous alleged blackout of the 13th General Elections).
Najib rushes to pick BR1M hoping that his “I help you, you help me” approach will win Dr Mahathir over only to be faced with a hard-hitting question from Mahathir about where the RM42 billion went.
Summoning GST champion Ahmad Maslan to defend him, Najib finds him stumped by an economic textbook Mahathir asks him to read.
The beleaguered Najib then turns in desperation to the Inspector-General of Police Khalid Abu Bakar but is left to fend for himself once again when the cop gets distracted by a Twitter bird Mahathir sends flying his way.
The red-faced PM is then asked to “surrender now and step down” which the Bugis warrior in him refuses to do.
At that point Najib accesses his goodie bag and retrieves a diamond ring which brings Rosmah to the fore. Attacking Mahathir, she asks: “Berani ko usik laki aku?” (How dare you disturb my man?)
The video posted yesterday has a cheeky disclaimer saying the characters in the videos do not represent anyone in particular and comes with an advance apology should anyone have already taken offence.
Malaysians are eagerly awaiting the second part of the video which is already in the works.
The user ShilleNide has been making such parliamentary parodies and posting it on his Facebook page since October 2012 with the current one already posted on ShilleNide’s YouTube account. - FMT
