Mt Kinabalu nudist says ‘catch me if you can’

The unrepentant tourist is now egging on the authorities to catch him since investigations have started on his antics atop Mount Kinabalu.

TAWAU: The belligerent Emil Kaminski, one of the Mount Kinabalu nudists, has dared the authorities to “catch him if they can” since police are on the hunt for him and others who posed naked atop Mount Kinabalu some days back.
He said this in reply to enraged FMT readers who posted messages wishing that the police caught up with him soon so he would face the consequences of his disrespectful actions.
Commenting on an article FMT posted yesterday entitled, “Nudist insults Sabah Minister, residents of Tawau”, one Kieng Soo said, “RM400 fine? Make them pay and let them go lah! It will cost more than that by keeping them here,” to which Kaminski replied, “RM400???? Can I just prepay, say, ten times? Hahaha…”
Another enraged keyboard warrior Koh Mun Hoong said, “RM400 fine? This is the only instance where the Government can use the Sedition Act for insulting the sensitivities of the local race. Make sure he is jailed 20 years.”
All the nudist had to say in return to this reply was “catch me if you can”.
Meanwhile Kaminski’s Facebook page has been inundated with more negative comments from netizens who are infuriated with his disrespectful attitude towards local culture and beliefs.
This was evidenced when he continued posting messages mocking Sabahans and minister of Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment, Masidi Manjun.
Yesterday, Kaminski uploaded a video titled “Trolling Malaysia” and shared the link on both his Twitter and Facebook page.
In the expletive-laden video, Kaminski falsely accused Masidi once again for linking his group’s nudist antics to the Ranau earthquake that claimed 16 lives when it was in fact Joseph Pairin Kitingan, Sabah deputy chief minister, who made the comment.
He did however say, “I was not insulting Malaysia. I was not making any references to the people that died up there. I was simply insulting that Masidi Manjun guy, the f**king minister.”
“Because to say something that f**king stupid you really need to lobotomise yourself on a piece of heavy machinery,” he said in the video.
The video that is 12.35 minutes long and posted on his YouTube account Monkeetime, was largely dedicated to reading the angry comments posted by enraged Malaysians on his Facebook page.
Towards the end of the video, Emil thanked those Malaysians who had sent him messages of support privately as they wished to remain anonymous fearing repercussions.
“It’s actually nice to see the flip side of the coin because with 250,000 really, really negative encounters, one might think that all of Malaysia is deranged. Not true. Obviously the deranged ones are the loudest ones.”
