One-month Raya bonus for S’gor civil servants

17,534 will benefit from the move, says menteri besar.

SHAH ALAM: The Selangor government announced a month’s salary as a special Aidilfitri annual allowance for civil servants in the state to be paid on July 9.

Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali said the allowance would be enjoyed by 17,534 civil servants.

“The annual allowance is in appreciation of the services of all state civil servants in implementing state government policies with professionalism and integrity,” he said in a statement.

Last year, the state government also gave a months’ salary as a special Aidilfitri allowance.
