The paper said the toll rates are expected to be increased between 20 cents and RM1.
Among the major highways expected to be affected are the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway, the Damansara-Puchong Expressway, the New Pantai Expressway, and Kajang's Silk Highway.
The government last year postponed the scheduled toll hikes amid concerns over rising living costs.
If approved, the toll hikes will come four months after the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The Malay daily said the Works Ministry will bringing the matter to the Cabinet for approval today.
However, the hikes would not involve the North-South Highway, it said.
Last year, the government compensated concessionaires nearly RM560 million to maintain toll charges.
